ForecourtOS — used car dealer software for UK forecourts

used car dealer software UK

Direct answer

ForecourtOS is used-car dealer software for UK independent forecourts. You log a vehicle once; provenance, price and photos stay on that record, the stock website publishes a page per car, and part-exchange and finance leads come back into the same dashboard. It is part of Automotive Systems and launches End of Q4 2026.

What used-car dealer software has to do

A UK independent dealer is not short of tools. Auto Trader sells the advert. A spreadsheet holds cost. A brochure site is months behind the pitch. The gap is a system of record: the car on the yard, the car on the website, and the car on the marketplace have to be the same car.

ForecourtOS is built for that job. It does not replace Auto Trader. It stops the website, the yard list and the ads disagreeing with each other.

Who it is for

Used-car dealers and forecourts. Solo principals and small groups who still run stock in a sheet, not franchise retailers buying Keyloop.

If you also run a workshop, ForecourtOS Pro includes WorkshopOS on the same organisation — not a second vendor. WorkshopOS is still in development.

How it works

Log a vehicle once. Provenance, pricing and photos live on the same record.

The stock website publishes a page per car the moment it is on sale.

Part-exchange, finance and reservation leads come back into the same dashboard.

What sits on one vehicle record

Vehicle stock register with provenance & valuation checks. Auto-published stock website with per-vehicle SEO pages. Part-exchange, finance and reservation lead capture. Advertising sync to marketplaces and social. Margin, ageing and days-in-stock reporting. Co-driver: WhatsApp/SMS desk for stock, asking price and MOT — facts only.

Leads are not a separate inbox product. Part-exchange, finance and reservation sit on the same vehicle the site just advertised.

How this compares to MotorDesk and DealerGate

MotorDesk is the closest live peer: independent UK dealers, stock plus a website, priced on live stock. DealerGate is another all-in-one DMS with marketplace broadcasting. Both are selling today. ForecourtOS launches with Automotive Systems End of Q4 2026.

Where we intend to differ: a stock website that is the marketing site, not a bolt-on; Co-driver on WhatsApp and SMS for viewings and MOT questions; and one login if you add a workshop later. Where they are ahead today: years of live yards, certified accounts sync, and mature Auto Trader feeds.

What it costs

Starter is £99 a month for up to 15 vehicles, Growth £179 for up to 40 (Co-driver starts here), Pro £499 for up to 100 and includes WorkshopOS on the same organisation. Custom domain, local SEO pages and Stripe deposits on reservation sit on every Forecourt band. Prices exclude VAT. Confirm the band on a demo — stock on the pitch is what we band on, not a vanity seat count.

ForecourtOS questions

What is ForecourtOS?+

ForecourtOS is dealer management software for UK used-car forecourts. It is a stock register and an SEO stock website in one, so every car on the pitch is advertised, priced and sold from the same system.

Does it replace my Auto Trader listing?+

No. It is the system of record. You can still push vehicles to marketplaces; ForecourtOS stops the website, the yard list and the ads disagreeing with each other.

Does ForecourtOS include a workshop?+

ForecourtOS Pro includes WorkshopOS on the same organisation — the yard and the garage, one login. That is the dealership garage. Mobile tyre or mobile mechanics is WorkshopOS Callout if you also run vans. Starter and Growth are the forecourt product only. WorkshopOS is still in development.
